2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details, including your email address and any details included in correspondence.
- Project information such as location, building type, budget range, programme, your role, service requirements and notes.
- Drawings, photographs, specifications or other files you choose to submit.
- Messages sent by email, telephone or WhatsApp after you choose to contact us.
Information generated when the site is used
- Basic server and security records that may include IP address, browser or device type, requested URL, timestamp and error data. These may be created by our hosting, firewall or WordPress environment.
- A short-lived, pseudonymous token derived from an IP address to prevent repeat form submissions. The current project-review endpoint keeps this token for five minutes.
- If optional analytics or marketing is introduced and you make a choice, the preference may be stored locally under
sv_cookie_consent_v1for 180 days.
We do not ask for government identity documents, payment-card data or special-category personal data through the website. Please do not submit them.

We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects using solely automated processing. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
4. Project enquiries, drawings and attachments
The project-review form sends the information and attachments you submit to the appropriate Starveil business mailbox. Uploaded files are held temporarily on the website server only while the message is prepared and are deleted immediately after the email is dispatched. The resulting email and attachments remain in the receiving mailbox in line with the retention periods below.
GCC enquiries may be routed to [email protected]; other enquiries normally route to [email protected]. Your location is used for this routing and for evaluating project conditions—not for behavioural advertising.
5. Who receives information and international transfers
We disclose information only where reasonably needed to operate the website, evaluate an enquiry, deliver an agreed service or comply with law. Recipients may include:
- authorised Starveil engineering, estimating, production, logistics and management staff;
- website hosting, security, email, cloud storage and IT service providers acting for us;
- professional advisers, insurers and authorities where legally required;
- approved project consultants, suppliers or logistics providers when necessary for a quotation or project, subject to the project scope and appropriate confidentiality controls.
Starveil is based in China and serves international markets. Information may therefore be processed in China or in countries used by our service providers and project team. Where applicable law requires transfer safeguards, we use contractual, organisational or other recognised measures appropriate to the transfer.
WhatsApp and map links open third-party services. If you choose to use them, the relevant provider processes information under its own privacy terms. We do not embed a map or WhatsApp tracker on this site.

We may keep a record longer where required by law, an active dispute, a warranty obligation or an ongoing project; we may delete it earlier when it is no longer needed.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of or a copy of your personal information; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or complain to a competent data-protection authority. Mandatory exceptions may apply, including where records are needed for a contract, legal duty or claim.
Send requests to [email protected] with the subject “Privacy request”. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and locate the relevant record. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

8. Security, children and changes
We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, including restricted access, file-type and size controls, same-origin form checks, spam controls and prompt deletion of temporary uploads. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
This is a business-to-business website and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under 18 through the project form.
We may update this notice when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change. The reviewed date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented on this page and, where appropriate, through the consent interface.
